We love good truck modifications. Nothing better than a proper suspension upgrade and a set of 33’s or 35’s.  The owners modifying the truck in this manner provides absolutely no functionality. It likely impedes certain factors such as visibility, aerodynamics, and the overall off road ability of the vehicle. For that reason, the Squat Mod has been quite controversial ever since it emerged. We have even seen trucks to do Air Suspension on the rear so they can be legal on the road and lower to the Carolina Squat truck mod mode when at a show.

• This change gives the truck a more aggressive look.
• It started because people didn’t have money to lift the whole trucks, so they just modified the front suspension. At least that is the rumor why it was started.
